The launch of our NPO will be tasked with our first project; facilitating the technological transfers of data for open-source technologies to bring global software to Japan and transform them for Japanese users. Our launch project will benefit non-commercial and community radio broadcast stations. We are building a Japanese version of the broadcast automation software Radio DJ. Some Japan based radio stations may qualify for a complimentary full working turn-key system running this open-source platform.
By helping the qualified radio stations receive the software we are transforming, it will provide solutions to a variety of obstacles that non-commercial radio stations are experiencing. Our services will help these broadcasters to achieve common goals.
Our first project is distributing a fully operational automated radio package allowing radio stations to operate 24 hours a day even without staff present. Because of the many options, radio automation is the best solution to save time and lower costs for normal day to day operations.
Our goal is to market, install and train broadcasters on the use of the radio automation package we would like to introduce, along with the fully functioning hardware systems free to radio stations who qualify for our program.
The iBSJ is focused on software technology for broadcasting and broadcast audio production where it can actually make a difference and gain the best results. The idea is to provide the installation, updates and configurations along with training where needed for terrestrial radio stations and limited support to online radio stations that meet the criteria of our program.
The beneficiaries of our non-profit efforts will include but are not limited to radio stations functioning as non-commercial, local community and education radio stations located on school campuses.
The iBSJ will launch its non-profit services with a popular open-source software package called ‘Radio DJ’. This is one of the most advanced Radio Automation software packages in the world. It has fully functioning options to help a small local radio station operate like a large commercial broadcaster. Radio DJ is a free openly distributed software package made overseas. Our Radio Automation team will not only redevelop the language options on this advanced software package, but also translate the operating manual into Japanese and make it readily available for broadcasters in Japan who qualify for our program.
Kick start your career with the HM Media Radio Broadcast Audio Production training in Tokyo. Classes are complimentary to individuals who meet the criteria to receive the training course at no charge.
The iBSJ has the goal is to help non-commercial and community radio stations across Japan who operate on limited budgets to gain access to advanced software technologies that can assist in their day to day operations.
